He heard the screech of tires coming to a sudden halt, and soon smelled the burnt rubber. Not quite as appealing as certain other things, but still sweet. He opened his eyes and looked up, expecting to see the back end of that girl's car. He wasn't too far off from what he actually saw, merely a few more yards back from it than he expected. A thin smile came to his face and a small chuckle escaped his cracked lips. "Heh..."

He breathed deep for a moment, then picked himself up. Once standing, he shook his head almost tauntingly at the young driver. He grinned more widely now and said, loudly and with a laugh, "That won't work, hon." A confused yet concerned look came over the girl's expression as reflected in the rearview mirror, which caused him to laugh again. "You need to do better than that, little bitch, if you're trying to hurt me..." The smile and mocking laughter was instantly gone from his face as he pointed another accusing finger in her direction. "I'll show you why."

He saw her hesitate and then reach down for her phone, which caused him to growl at her. "That won't be necessary!" he barked at her quickly and with a hint of anger. She froze and stared at his reflection in her rearview mirror. He let his arm drop and continued to glare at her, any hint of pleasure or amusement completely gone. "I'll show you..." he said again, clearly scaring the poor girl.

His eyes glowed white, though only his right one could be seen through his mask and sunglasses. The other, blind and rather useless to him, was hidden behind a thick bandanna. He stretched his arm out, hand balled into a fist. After a moment, the scrapes on it began to steam, and then completely faded. The cut on his left shoulder vanished in a similar manner, but his expression only turned more sour. "SEE?" he yelled at her, startling her with his sudden change in volume and tone. "SEE?" he yelled again, brandishing his now healed arm so that she could see. "It doesn't work. NOTHING WORKS!"

His lips curled into a snarl. "You could have hit me as hard as you wanted with your little car, but it wouldn't work! No matter how many times you try! NOTHING WORKS!" Anger rising, he reached into a special pocket on the leg of his pants and pulled out the only thing he trusted in this world - a battered yet still shiny handgun. He shook it around menacingly and the poor girl seemed to shrink into her seat in fear. He could still see her eyes reflected in the mirror, and they were full of complete terror.

"Oh, no. No no no! I'd never shoot you, little bitch who could have hit me with her car. Actually, if you had done just that I would have thanked you for trying and you most likely would have driven off in a panic and without any regard for the traffic light or the speed limit. No..." His toxic sentence hung in the air. "No..." He froze.
The glow in his eye faded, replaced with a madness that only he knew and nobody else could see. He suddenly seemed almost calm, but this change caused even further panic in the girl's expression.

He pressed the barrel directly underneath his chin, angled back at his head. Aimed directly at his brain. "NOT EVEN THIS! NOT. EVEN. THIS." He grinned like a madman at her and began to laugh crazily again. "Wanna see...?" he hissed, finger tightening around the trigger.
